Hi,
We have a simulation that runs on an onyx2 (IR2) and an octane. The source
is a bit different, but the intent is the same.
On the onyx2, we use exp2 fog, and it works quite well. On the Octane, the
fog is also set to exp2, but it seems to work differently. If the observer
is on the ground, it works well. If the observer is in the air(few thousand
feet) , the fog does not work according to range. Instead, it seems to
reduce the contrast evenly over the entire screen. If the fog is set to
5miles, objects 25 miles away are visible, when they weren't from the
ground.
Has anybody run into this before? Is there some kind of fog setting that
could cause this behavior?
Thanks
