PCs depend on the gaming market to drive graphics requirements. There are
currently no 3D PC graphics cards that use genlock. Some modified boards use
frame-lock, but this is not adequate for certain types of synchronization, such
as edge-blending, stereo, or target projection. Frame-lock can be good enough
for some applications seeking a contiguous wide field of view.
