The application you are running crashes or graphics freeze and the
application justs sits there? If the graphics are freezing make sure you
have built your app with the debug flag "-g" to the compiler. Then when
you observe the freeze run the debugger and get stack traces of all your
processes.
So you when your app freezes do a ps -aef | grep "for_the_process_name"
Then do a dbx -p "pid#" of each process from previous command.
Then do a "t" or "where" command.
One of the processes you query will be the DRAW process and the stack
trace may hold some clue as to what is going wrong. You will also get a
stack trace of the APP which will tell you if you are stuck in an
infinte loop.
Is your application all in Vega or have you added custom code?
