Hello,
Although this is an OpenGL question, it's also about
real-time graphics, so let me ask about this here please!
I have some fish-eye background images, and each image has
depth per pixel as its alpha values.
When drawing it with hemi-sphere geometries, I'd like to
draw its alpha values into depth buffer.
I know, glRead/DrawPixels can handle depth buffer, but
it isn't smart method because it has to use system memory.
I remember there was a routine called "zdraw" in IRIS-GL.
But I couldn't find the same functionarity in OpenGL...
When I use OpenGL, do I have to use glRead/DrawPixels ?
Or are there any other good methods ?
Thank you,
