We welcome Kimberly Neff as the Performer Product Manager. For those of
you who are not familiar with our organizations, each product in SGI
is assigned an engineering manager who manages the engineering team
and a product manager who handles marketing aspect of the product.
Kimberly comes to SGI from TRW, with a strong background in software
development and years of experience in the DoD simulation community.
She's got a MS in Engineering Management and a BS in Aerospace Engineering,
and has done simulation programming work on everything from
hardware-in-the-loop systems to chemical/biological simulations,
training simulations, global command &
control systems, validation & verification, and constructive simulation
(SAFs), with a primary focus on interoperability (DIS/HLA) and synthetic
environments.
Her program work includes STOW, Comanche, Crusader as well as a variety of
other programs to numerous to mention.
She is well known throughout the simulation community and is currently very
active (as committee participant, chair or deputy chair) in several
Simulation Community forums and associations, including the Environment
track & Simulated Natural Environment Forum of SIW, and the M & S
subcommittee on the I/ITSEC Committee.
The addition of Kimberly to our team finally completes our Performer
picture: we have 1 engineering manager (me), 1 product manager,
7 engineers and 1 principle engineer.
