Yeah that was a typo. The SGI I'm using isn't on an open network.
Unfortunately, I can't just transfer data from it to my office machine w/o
jumping thru hoops.

The callback is associated with a channel. Vega has its own channels
class, but it maps to a pfChannel. In my app, there's only one channel
that takes up the whole window. I see my polygon, so I don't think it's a
culling problem.
I think I'm going to kick the problem back to the Vega guy soon. He
left loading the texture as an exercise. :)
