I wasn't copying and pasting directly from code, so I forgot to put
in the parentheses... that wasn't the problem. I wasn't setting the
type correctly in the constructor. None of the examples I saw made
this call, but they weren't 'official' examples--just snippets that
were here in the lab. Right there in Chapter 20 of the Programmer's
Guide it clearly states I need to call setType() in the constructor.
Just yell out RTFM. ;) Anyhow, thanks to all of you for the
help--now the DCS information shares nicely over the network without
any trouble or really rough code.
