Hi,
I agree with Angus and Tom that SGI can not support all the various
software combinations for Performer++at++LINUX, especially not for free. I also
don't think that it's feasible to make a PC-IG product out of the existing
freeware components. This would imply too much effort or take too long. For
me FLASH is the only way out of the configuration dilemma.
Meanwhile as everybody has to work with the existing HW/SW solution, some
hints or advice could make life much easier. A separate LINUX list would
not do the job, because problems will not be solved, they only will become
public. Maybe someone else has a better idea.
