The Octane channel option allows you to take multiple video from a
single graphics system, but the resolution is limited by some ceiling on
the overall video bandwidth.
You can get up to 4 video outputs from a single desktop.
This is where you need to draw some kind of distinction between multiple
graphics subsystems (in for example a dual head system) and multiple
video outputs from a single graphics subsystem.
With the channel option you would have a single desktop driven from a
single graphics pipe and the video would be taken from different
porportions of the desktop, so for example the left monitor could show
the left half of a 2048 x 768 desktop and the right monitor would show
the right half. Each monitor displays a single 1024x768 image.
I've guessed at these numbers, you should check the available
configurations for multiple video channels. There is less flexibility in
your choices than say an Infinite Reality and less bandwidth. You can't
get 2 * 1280x1024 video. It's more like the Reality Engine vof
management than Infinite Reality .cmb GUI configurable system.
