Performer on Wintel is an anathema!

If you wish to display the output of a Performer program
running on IRIX on a Wintel PC display, Exceed 3D is a not
inexpensive commercial solution providing X and GLX
facilities.

Check out

Exceed 3D works, albeit at snail's pace for applications such
as those based on Performer. It is very handy for less bandwidth-
intensive OpenGL applications (e.g., ircombine on Onyx iR).
