Don't forget the very good solution by 3dfx. Using the pre release DRI
XFree 4.0 / 3.9.17 ) you can get excellent performance. It will probably
give a replacement for a single processor mxe style octane ( good graphics,
no antialiasing ).
But as previously described, it isnt the graphics hardware that we are
really waiting on, its the SMP version of Performer that will prevent full
performance and antialiasing in the PC graphics hardware ( Voodoo 5 ? ).
