Creating a GUI in Performer C++

Hi there,

We are a couple of students trying to create a Performer GUI.
None of us have any experience with Xwindows programming,
if anybody out there have some good examples/links/tips it would
be very helpfull.

The things we would like to do both in windowed and fullscreen
applications are :

1. Simple buttons
2. Slidebars
3. Entering numbers (edit box)
