Hello Andreas,

Yes we are using multihead X with OpenGl hardware support, some weeks ago i
posted informations about it, may be you should look for it in the performer
Mailing List History. We are using Xig's Technology Demo EV 2 which is kind
of a beta release of multihead openGL hardware supported X-server.
Unfortunately this X-server isnt supporting so many chipsets. We are using 3
permedia2 chip cards ( 1xAGP, 2xPCI ) and it is working with NT and with
Linux. Unfortunately the Permedia2 chip isnt the newest one. But as far as i
read in some weeks there will be Xfree4.0 out, which supports multihead and
nvidia's newest chips. There is a new snapshot of a Xfree4.0 version whoich
can be downloaded.
What kind of applications do you want to run on Linux with HMD ?

    Thomas
