The 3DS loader in Performer has aged in relation to the latest
versions of 3DS itself; so I'm not too surprised to hear that some
incompatibilities have creeped in. Anyone who has a simple testcase
or two we could look at, please send it along. [Either open a case
with tech support or if you don't mind handling it informally you can
just email me and I'll dump it into a bug report.]

Query along the same lines:

We haven't considered upkeep of the 3DS loader to be a very high
priority - are many people using it, or kept from using it but need
to?
