You'll have to be careful, because your 3DS Max file can contain troublesome
NURBS, and different versions of 3DS behave differently with exported
textures. You should use File->Export As Mesh within 3DS to create a more
kosher .3ds file. But early releases of 3DS Max had a Kinetix bug that
created bogus texture coordinates.
