The exporter of 3DS Max seems to be working fine for me. I think the
problem is in Performers .3DS loader. I'm currently exporting files
from 3DS Max to .3DS and loading the file be a homemade library. Most
information seems to get converted correctly [incl. textures, texture
coordinates, heirarchy, materials, and key-frames].
