Hi Mathew

You need to look at the man pages for
pfGeode
pfGeoset
pfGeoState

pfGeoset - this holds the primitive type, number of prims, lenght of prims
           Vertex coords, colors coords, normals coords, textures coords etc .....

a pfGeoState is attached to a pfGeoSet, the Gstate holds the texture info, material
           alpha, back face, front face details etc.

a pfGeode has a pfGeoset added to it.

The you could add the pfgeode to a pfGroup, pfDCS, etcc which you then add
to your pfScene.

The programmers guide is very good and explains the Performer hierarchy very
well also there are examples provided in /usr/share/Performer/
