What is the openSUSE IA64 Factory Distribution?

The Factory Distribution is the current state of the development for the next SUSE Linux distribution. While the IA64 port is not currently slated to be an official SUSE Linux release, the openSUSE IA64 Factory Distribution allows access to the IA64 build of it.
