Hello, I want to turn off the CRC check on ethernet frames and pass every packet up to the kernel. I have an eepro100, so I mailed Intel about it and asked for specs. The reply I got was that the kernel may actually rely on the NIC doing this check. So, what's the deal? What effects will there be if the NIC starts passing everything up to the kernel? -- ~~~<*>~~~ Web: http://elemental.webservices.se/ ICQ: 3534707 PGP: 0xA6B5C43B IRCnet: ctor ~~~<*>~~~
