If you left the AdvValidLifetime option in radvd to default (i.e. infinity) then it shouldn't expire. I haven't gotten as far as that in the code but with a quick look the prefix processing code in addrconf_prefix_rcv() seems to do just that. And new router advertisement must not invalidate old information unless they refer to the same prefix, mtu etc. -- D. |
