Just look and compare outputs.

If you are not looking _into_ patches, it does not matter.
But I (and, seems, other people) work with patches directly.

Well, tabbing is OK. Even too much of tabbing. 8)

Look into your version of ipv6/icmp.c. It is clear.
Probably, you occasionally passed it though some preprocessor
deleting all the empty lines and moving braces to unpredictable
positions. 8)
