no, that does not solve it - it still crashes. In my linux2.4-tree, there
is only one file-name containing lzs -> include/linux/isdn_lzscomp.h, but
no .c-file. There does not exist a module.
But the other side (the office-linux-box) includes this module.
The ISP Planet-intercom also provides LZS.

no!

I attached, what I could capture via ssh and tail -f /var/log/message,
after previously starting ipppd with kdebug 0xff. But I think, it's time
to look into the sources (as soon, as I can spare a little time). As my
motorcycle has a fuel-leak, it is really dangerous (when it drops onto the
rear wheel). So this needs to be fixed first.
