I've mailed Ben an introduction to the user-level side of
proxyarp in a separate email. I'd be happy to privately mail it to anyone
else that would like a copy.
Ben - once you have the proxyarp set up, you can firewall between
the two sides of the network. My apologies if the note I've sent you
completely misses the problem you're having, or if you already knew all I
mailed... :)
