Summary: Lock up on Tyan S2460 when accessing or transferring
                    large files (+1GB)
           Product: File System
           Version: 2.5
    Kernel Version: 2.6.37 through 3.2.13
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
              Tree: Mainline
            Status: NEW
          Severity: high
          Priority: P1
         Component: XFS
        AssignedTo: xfs-masters at oss.sgi.com
        ReportedBy: sk8tesgre8t at gmail.com
        Regression: No

System crashes when trying to manipulate large files (> 1GB) on a Tyan S2460
using XFS file system. Don't know about other file systems as I haven't tested
them. I use XFS almost exclusively. Haven't been able to get any debug
information presently either. Looks like the issue had been fixed up until
kernel version 2.6.33 or so. I am running 3.2.13-smp presently (two
processors, 3.5GB ram, PATA hard disks) and Slackware 13.37 with
Slackware-current kernel. Maybe this isn't the correct place to report this
bug?? If not, my apologies. I'll submit a new report in the correct category
if that is the case.

Cheers,

Fred
