Any body know why kdb can survive after kernel crash?Thanx.

Hi All
	I am a newbie of kdb and meet a problem. 

     How can kdb survive and capture a kernel crash since kdb is a part
of kernel?

	Before step into the source code of kdb I want to know the
mechanism for 

such issue. Any comments on this issue?
