KDB Hang on 2.4 Kernel

Hi all ...
Could you lemme know if kdb is a symbolic debugger ( I think its not as
far as the documentation says) ...
If anyone has any idea if either kgdb or dprobes are symbolic kernels
please lemme know.

This sounds like an old problem we had with some interaction between
the mouse manager and the console that would cause the console to
_appear_ to be hung. Telneting in and restarting gpm would generally
unfreeze the console. I never spent the time to find the root cause.
