KDB Hang on 2.4 Kernel

Hi , i am having a problem with KDB 2.4.18 Kernel. Whenever i come out of
kdb using GO command , the machine apperently hangs. I can get back the
control by restarting the gpm via telnet session. I see this is a
limitation with KDB on 2.4.18 kernel.  Is there any fix for this problem in
2.5 kernels . In 2.5 KDB kernels , this problem dosen't seem to occur. Is
there any patch which i can apply for 2.4.18 kernel to fix this problem ?
Any help would be useful .
