Does kdb-v2.1-2.4.18-* works with Redhat 7.3 distribution?

Only apply the latest common patch, not all of them.  See the README in the
patch directory.

That is just the top level directory name for the repository where I
keep the i386 specific kdb code.  use patch -p1 with kdb common, i386,
ia64 etc. patches.
