We have two mailing lists at the moment, one for developers and user questions (please try to avoid questions which are answered in the FAQ or the archive, thanks) and the cvs announce mailinglist. The CVS list will keep you up to date what changes are done on the cvs kernel tree. Usually only developers will need this one. In any way you will need to write a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with body:
subscribe linux-mips email@example.com
subscribe linux-cvs firstname.lastname@example.org
Important note: to prevent spam to the list we allow only subscribers to post to it. If you intend to post from different addresses in your domain, please make sure to subscribe with a more general address to prevent bounces. e.g. use something like:
email@example.comRather than (say):
To save repeated questions on the developer list, you may also want
to look at the big (since mid 1996) archive
of that list and the problems/solutions therein.
