Try compiling with gcc 2.91.66 (or get either the kgcc or egcs-compat rpm, both of which are 2.91.66 I think). If you want to stick with your current compiler, you'll need to use the development cvs

You compile it with a gcc-2.96 use kgcc from the egcs package.

the problem is only when compiler XFS not the kernel himsef. ?????????, it's not a bug but a "Distribution design features <sigh>"
