We also see error messages like: XFS internal error XFS_WANT_CORRUPTED_RETURN at line 310 of file xfs_alloc.c. ...with much more complicated stack traces. Linux 2.4.21-32.0.1.EL plus some local SCSI

Are you able to run a clean xfs_repair on this filesystem? Does this server have ECC memory? - I have seen quite a lot af these errors earlier - replacing non-ECC with ECC memory did the trick. /My 5
