You could also use the newer 2.4.9 redhat errata kernels that you can find in the testing directory on the FTP site which works very well on the database server at work. Cheers Seth

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I wasn't really all that worried about using XFS, I've done a bit of stability testing myself, proved fine. But we're going to stick w/ one of the RedHat distro
