Maybe your CDROM drive is bad? Maybe the CD got damaged since it was last functional? At any rate, the XFS ISO itself isn't the problem, as i've used it, as have many others, presumably, without a pr

IIRC RedHat does sometimes rebuild the CD's with errata packages included. I guess the XFS installer will only work with the first version of the RedHat 9 CD. Maybe someone knows more about this. Si
