I don't know exactly where this comes from, but the quick fix it to turn off kdb, you do not need it for xfs. Steve

ATTRIBUTE_UNUSED is defined in /usr/include/ansidecl.h. You need a recent binutils, I run with with binutils-2.9.5.0.22-6.
