I get this error on a 2.4.20 kernel with SCSI enabled for using a qlogin controller. It compiled fine before adding the latest xfs-patch (linux-2.4.20-xfs-2003-02-23.patch.bz2). ld -m elf_i386 -T /u

defined in xfs/support/kmem.c ; used in lots of places to a pain to rename (nor desirable for IRIX compat.) where is the qlogic driver? i grepped the kernel and didn't see kmem_zalloc used by any scs

I have been running exactly the same setup, but with the qlogic driver built as a module - no problems here. Possibly different driver versions though. Steve

I took the QLA driver sources and built a patch from that against 2.4.20. Maybe you'd like to have a look at it - works great for me, although I never did test it as a module because I'm booting from
