4 is fine. People are working on a new release of XFS, against current Redhat. Or you can use the XFS CVS tree which is up to 2.4.6-pre3. Getting it into the source tree depends on Linus's response.

Thanks responding so quick! In the FAQ's it mentioned maybe June: "are still some points (mid june) that need to be resolved before it can be sent to Linus. Maybe if we are lucky it might even be in

The <insert arch here> scales better then intel x86 systems. where number of arch > 5 A cobalt Qube2 is based on mips, not fast but it usses low power and can move a good amount of data. I believe Er
