everything is peachy with 7.1 (with xfs) install, but how can I disable the devfs from mounting, even temporarily??? I'm loading XFS support solely to mount several Jaz cartridges that were formated

What does your lilo.conf file look like? My append statement is: append="ramdisk_size=2500 devfs=nomount" and devfs is not running. Do you have more than one append, maybe? RK -- Randy Kelsoe Dae Ric
