- Found a hint in the archive, mounting with -nouuid worked, the log was successfully replayed. I forgot to mention what version I'm using: 2.4.20-28_36.rh7.3.atsmp (xfs 1.3.0) The machine acts as NFS/

- Well, the xfs_repair did not fix the problem. I'm running NFS/SMB now on the fs mounted with -nouuid, I hope that's not a problem... Will the error message in the subject go away with a reboot only?

- Was the filesystem ever cloned or snapshotted? do you have other xfs filesystems mounted? we could use xfs_db to look at superblocks on each, and see why it thinks it's a duplicate uuid... hm, or per

- I suppose the most likely scenario is that the mount failed after inserting the uuid into the list, and did not clean up properly (thanks for the hint Glen) - in which case mounting nouuid is fine, a
