- lots of info via it's "cmn_err()" function, and the strings passed to it never have newlines. It translates these to printk's but that translation was missing the added newline in some cas

- O_DIRECT fixup, pending patch from Andrew Morton, removes the case where we tossed cached data but never flushed it. This has been submitted to Linus already. The following file(s) were checked into:
