ng you that the filesystem has a dirty log, and it should be mounted & cleanly unmounted before xfs_repair will tell you anything meaningful.

If you saw a message about "xfs_repair -L," that is telling you that the filesystem has a dirty log, and it should be mounted & cleanly unmounted before xfs_repair will tell you anything meaningful.
