"XFS internal error xfs_da_do_buf(1)" in 2.6.17.7 and newer 2.6.17

The problem first occured when I upgraded my Debain Testing system to the
current state. This was the first time I booted >= 2.6.17.7 kernel.
The problem is reproducible 2.6.17.7, 2.6.17.11 and 2.6.17.13 kernels
while no problem with 2.6.17.4 and 2.6.17.6.
With all the kernels above I used the same compiler to compile the kernel
source, I used modules only compiled together with the kernel.
The way to reproduce the XFS crash is:
1. boot the system
2. log-in unprivileged user + sudo
3. go to a dir storing the tetex-base .deb file
4. re-install the .deb file (which has 6249 files in 76700 kB)

The system will be in unusable after it.
After a reboot with the 2.6.17.[46] kernel, everything is O.K. and I can
re-install the .deb file without any problems.
