Hi xfs-master folks.

Just FYI:

<hpa> But HP has apparently approved the hardware request. The plan is
to factor mirrors.kernel.org onto a separate server set, as well as
switching from ext3 to XFS on a bunch of the machines.
...
<wli> Doing the same fs switch here.
...
<kyle> nice
<kyle> go hp
<rmk> hpa: thanks for the explaination
<hpa> Changing from ext3 to XFS should hopefully help; we're trying XFS
on git.kernel.org and so far it does seem to perform a lot better.

I suggested to Peter that he could contact this alias if he had any
questions about optimizing the filesystem for a git load, I'm sure we
could think of something. :) (larger, v2 log, more/bigger logbufs?)
I'm not sure how much he's already switched over.

-Eric
