Guys, pleeeeze don't forget to think about the backports!  We really
rely upon the originators and committers to choose which fixes are
needed in earlier kernels, prevent things from falling through cracks.

The appropriate and reliable way in which to do this is to add

Cc: <stable@xxxxxxxxxx>

to the changelog.  Then everything happens by magic :)
