Also, can you dump all the stack traces of the D-state tasks when the hang occurs and attach the output? i.e. 'echo w > /proc/sysrq-trigger'. If your kernel doesn't support this, then just dump all the processes using 'echo t > /proc/sysrq-trigger'.
