Summary: xfs on dmcrypt causes oopses on amd64
    Kernel Version: 2.6.16-2.6.28
            Status: NEW
          Severity: high
             Owner: xfs-masters@xxxxxxxxxxx
         Submitter: mmh@xxxxxxx

Most recent kernel where this bug did *NOT* occur: 2.6.14
Distribution: Debian unstable
Hardware Environment: AMD64, SATA hard disk, Athlon XP
Software Environment:
Problem Description: On heavy write activity (video editing) in an XFS file
system on a dmcrypt encrypted partition, I get oopses and observe data loss due
to crashing applications

Steps to reproduce:
Create XFS file system on dmcrypt partition. Start heavy video encoding (and
maybe concurrent file access from normal desktop use)

I have observed this bug with and without nvidia binary module, so I think it
is not related to that.

See also the report on LKML
http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0603.3/0826.html

which has the same symptoms and the same SW+HW environment.
