I'm having same problem. To repeat it I can just do "mount -o remount,ro /mnt".
This problem prevents me to do clean boot. It hangs when rc-scripts are
unmounting local filesystems (root filesystem I assume). Problem does not occur
when using Debian's stock kernel. xfs_check does not report any error.
