Summary: Unhandled Allocation Failure
Kernel Version: 2.6.6-1.414 (Fedora-devel Kernel)
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Owner: xfs-masters@xxxxxxxxxxx
Submitter: ivg2@xxxxxxxxxxx
Hi, I decdided to file a bugzilla for this bug, since it seems to have been
forgotten on the xfs list/LKML.
I am low on memory (128MB), and thunderbird continually crashes because of an
XFS allocation failure. I think that happens because it tries to do something
with the LKML archive file, which is about 350 MB in size. Then it becomes
unkillable, and I can't ls -l in the LKML Mail folder (hangs).
Here's the allocation failure and the oops following it (always go together).
The only process that causes this is thunderbird, in the circumstances described
above.
