That's probably due to the BLKBSZSET ioctl issue I fixed a few days
ago.  We saw that on Mylex DAC controllers too (Insert rant about
drivers bypassing existing interfaces here).

It would be helpful if you could check the installer error message
console (Alt-F4, IIrc) for messages after the filesystems have been
formatted.  Chances are it will complain about bad ioctls.

If that's the case, please let us know.  And I guess you'll have to
hold your breath until we do a respin.
