Hello.
On a NFS fileserver exporting users home directories, running SGI-XFS
CVS-2003-09-24_05:00_UTC (2.4.22), I just experienced a filesystem
shutdown:
Nov 18 10:03:31 pave kernel: xfs_force_shutdown(sd(8,17),0x8) called from line
1071 of file xfs_trans.c. Return address = 0xc0205b9a
Nov 18 10:03:31 pave kernel: Filesystem "sd(8,17)": Corruption of in-memory
data detected. Shutting down filesystem: sd(8,17)
Nov 18 10:03:31 pave kernel: Please umount the filesystem, and rectify the
problem(s)
It apparently happened when one user exceeded his quotas. I write
"apparently", because I am unsure this is the real reason.
Did someone faced something similar ?
Thanks.
