has anybody else seen mkfs.xfs and xfS_repair crashing? i yesterday updated my home machine to the latest xfs code and tar'ed together the root dir - mkfs.xfs'ed with the new (libxfs) mkfs.xfs and it crashed (core dumped) on it - so i did it with the old (sim based) mkfs.xfs and it worked but on that fresh filesystem the new xfs_repair core-dumped ... the old xfS_repair worked ... has anybody else seen this behaviour with the latest code (it was absolutely reproducable for me)? t p.s.: p5 233, 64mb, ide, no kio-stuff -- thomas.graichen@xxxxxxxxxxxxx technical director innominate AG clustering & security networking people tel: +49.30.308806-13 fax: -77 http://innominate.de |
